Analog and Digital Auto Detect
The PD362i supports both analog and digital modes, enabling a simple and cost-effective migration path to digital. It intelligently detects the signal type and automatically switches between analog and digital mode. This allows seamless switching between the two operation modes for communication with older legacy analog radios.
High-Quality Digital Audio
An advanced audio equalizer adjusts low, mid, and high-frequency gain to deliver optimized sound. It provides high-quality digital audio performance with loud and clear Private Calls, Group Calls, and All Calls.
Text Messaging & Emergency Features
The radio supports one-touch sending of pre-programmed text messages, storing up to ten pre-defined messages of up to 64 characters. Additionally, it enables sending and receiving Emergency Alarms, which greatly enhances worker safety in the field.
Advanced System Capability
This device utilizes Pseudo Trunk technology, a virtual trunking feature that automatically uses whichever digital timeslot is free to improve call connectivity and frequency efficiency. It also allows radios to seamlessly move between connected repeaters with uninterrupted voice transmission via its Roaming feature.
